5 Emerging Trends from Haute Couture Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week is the perfect time to refresh your wardrobe, although it seems that Haute Couture Fashion Week is more suited for maximalists or trendsetting enthusiasts.

High Collars

Forget Y2K style for a moment; this haute couture week takes us back to Victorian England with an abundance of high-collared, pleated necklines and voluminous collars. Valentino, Elie Saab, and Armani Privé are among those who created standout collars using layers of fabric and embellishments on the neckline. Opt for a dark-toned high-necked blouse or dress to add an intriguing touch to your wardrobe.

Citrus Tones: Lime, Orange, and Lemon

Lime, lemon, or orange? Whatever your favorite citrus fruit, wearing the same color will help you stay on trend in the summer of 2023. Last year’s favorite pink also made appearances throughout haute couture week, but Alexandre Vauthier, Zuhair Murad, and Miss Sohee with their vibrant colors immediately caught the attention of many fashionistas.

After seeing Selena Gomez’s stunning Valentino dress with billowing sleeves at The Golden Globe Awards, many have set their sights on dresses with voluminous sleeves.
