This strategic move is aimed at fortifying Puig’s presence in the premium skincare market, with a particular emphasis on expanding its footprint in the United States.
Dr. Barbara Sturm, the founder of the eponymous brand, will retain a minority stake in the company and will continue to play a pivotal role as the Chief Product Development Officer and brand ambassador. The collaboration is expected to leverage Dr. Barbara Sturm’s scientific skincare offerings and high-performance treatments, aligning with Puig’s commitment to excellence in beauty and wellness.
Puig, boasting an impressive portfolio that includes Nina Ricci, Penhaligon’s, Kama Ayurveda, Carolina Herrera, and Byredo, envisions driving the international growth and development of Dr. Barbara Sturm. The partnership aims to capitalize on the brand’s existing presence in key locations such as Düsseldorf, London, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Dallas, Jakarta, and Singapore, further strengthening its global influence.
