Teasing listeners with a taste of what’s to come, Beyoncé has already dropped two singles from the forthcoming album: “16 Carriages” and the chart-topping “Texas Hold ‘Em,” which secured her first-ever No. 1 country single in the U.S. and marked her as the first Black woman to achieve this feat.

On her website’s homepage, fans are greeted with an image of a horse saddle adorned with a patriotic sash reading “Country Carter.” Additionally, Beyoncé unveiled a range of limited edition CDs and vinyl variants, each featuring alternative cover photos showcasing half of her face, along with exclusive box set editions containing a bonus track and album-themed T-shirts.

Fans have eagerly awaited new music from Beyoncé since the release of “Renaissance” in 2022, which she revealed to be the first part of a larger “three-act project.” Speculation arose regarding the inclusion of both dance and country tracks, with uncertainty surrounding whether the latter would feature on “Renaissance” or constitute a separate album. While “Renaissance” predominantly explored dance and house music, paying tribute to the Black queer community and club culture, fans can anticipate a shift in tone with “Cowboy Carter.”

This album follows Beyoncé’s record-breaking world tour, which grossed a staggering $579 million, as well as the theatrical debut of “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé.” Offering a blend of documentary and concert footage, the film provided viewers with a glimpse behind the scenes of her global journey. In conjunction with the movie’s London premiere, Beyoncé dropped the single “My House,” a nostalgic nod to her Houston roots, further amplifying anticipation for her upcoming release.
