On Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder will go head-to-head in Oklahoma.

As of 4:30 Eastern Time, the Lakers have declared Anthony Davis, LeBron James, Scotty Pippen Jr., D’Angelo Russell, and Cole Swider out for the game due to injury.

The Thunder will be without Ousmane Dieng, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren, Aleksej Pokusevski and Kenrich Williams in the meantime.

The Los Angeles Lakers, currently 13th in the Western Conference with a 29-33 record in 62 games, enter this evening following a 121-109 defeat to Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies in Tennessee on Tuesday night. This interrupted a three-game win streak.

In the last ten contests, the LA Lakers have been even with a 5-5 record, while they are 14-19 in their 33 away games. As for the Oklahoma City Thunder, they are one place below the Lakers in the West’s 13th seed.

The Thunder, with a record of 28-33 in 61 games, is currently in the midst of a four-game losing streak. Furthermore, they just suffered a 123-117 defeat against Domantas Sabonis and the Sacramento Kings in their home game on Tuesday.

In the last 10 meetings, the Thunder have gone 4-6, yet they have been successful at home, accumulating a 17-14 record in their 31 home games in Oklahoma City. On February 7, the Thunder triumphed over the Lakers 133-130 in LA. Regrettably, both teams failed to make the NBA Playoffs during the 2021-22 season.
