In a recent announcement, Takko Fashion has welcomed Martino Pessina as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 16, 2023. Bringing over 20 years of extensive experience in management roles within leading B2C brands in the fashion and jewelry sector, Pessina is poised to lead Takko Fashion into a new era.
Dirk Van den Berghe, Chairman of the Takko Fashion advisory board, expressed confidence in Pessina’s appointment, stating, “Martino Pessina brings an excellent understanding of the fashion value retail segment in Europe. We are convinced that he will further develop Takko’s increasingly successful quality discount business model in its different markets.”
Pessina’s impressive career includes a notable stint as the Chief Commercial Officer at Pandora, where he successfully spearheaded the omnichannel retail business, achieving sales exceeding three billion euros. His leadership at H&M, spanning nearly two decades, culminated in his role as President of North America, overseeing the brand’s largest region with sales surpassing four billion US dollars and a workforce of 20,000 employees.

In conjunction with Pessina’s appointment as CEO, the executive management board of Takko Fashion comprises Thomas Füllhaas, Chief Operations Officer (COO), and Sebastian Weber, Chief Product Officer (CPO).
