The richest face in the fashion industry is Bernard Arnault, chairman of the LVMH conglomerate. Other notable figures on the list include Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, Japan’s billionaire behind the Uniqlo brand, and the Spanish retail tycoon who owns the fast fashion brand Zara.

LVMH is the parent company of 75 global fashion brands, including big names like Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Sephora, Bulgari, and the recently acquired Tiffany & Co. Arnault’s wealth has increased by $34.3 billion since the beginning of 2019, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index.
